2018 PIKA TRIP SCHEDULE 2018 PIKA Paddles v.1 February 7, 2018 Page 1 of 17 You must contact trip facilitators and speak with or email them personally to sign up for trips. They will give you important information not only on skill levels, but gear required, meal arrangements and meeting places and times. Trip facilitators have the discretion to deny participation if they are unsure of a paddler's skills or readiness for trips. Trips are generally not cancelled due to rain. Please be considerate of the facilitators and other PIKA members, and sign up early, and don't sign up if you may want to cancel at the last minute. Safety gear, including Canadian Coast Guard approved PFD, paddle float, signalling device and tow rope are required by Transport Canada Small Vessel Regulations. Wetsuits/drysuits are required for all cold water paddling. Visit http://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/marinesafety/tp-tp14726-menu-1098.htm
