2018 PIKA TRIP SCHEDULE 2018 PIKA Paddles v.1 February 7, 2018 Page 2 of 17 PIKA (volunteer) Trip Facilitators have spent a lot of time researching and creating a full schedule for paddling throughout the year. We will be facilitating more than 58 trips for our members this year! There are trips and day paddles that should appeal to every skill level, so sign up early and often! Please note that there are no "drop in" trips. You MUST contact the trip facilitator to sign up, at least three days before the day of the paddle, and longer for weekend or full week trips. Trip launch sites can be changed, carpooling may be required, group size may be limited, trips may be cancelled or rescheduled and if you haven't spoken to the trip facilitator, you may find yourself on the beach alone. In addition, Float Plans must be filed by the facilitator and your emergency contact information is required. Please make sure you get a confirmation back from the facilitator. Consult the ratings chart on the previous page to determine if a trip may be suitable for you, and discuss your skills with the trip facilitator.
